Alpha MLM Leaders Always Lead By Example
If you’ve spent any time in the network marketing arena you know who the top leaders are. They’re the ones that shine in the spotlight and never seem to be alone. You’ll typically see them surrounded by small or large groups of adoring fans.
Ever wonder how they got that magnetic personality? Well, let me save you the suspense and tell you that they probably weren’t born that way. It wasn’t easy, but over time those MLM Leaders sharpened their skills to mold themselves into their current manifestation of leadership.
Here are some things to work on while growing into at real leader. Yes they are simple, but a lot of network marketers still don’t do it right. These items will not only help turn you into an Alpha leader but also show your downline how it should be done. Lead by example.
How do you look?: True leaders have a clean and neat exterior. Now don’t get carried away and strut around in your doo-doo brown tuxedo. I’m saying that if you have a beard, keep it trimmed. Don’t look like a bum if you’re dressed casually.
Attitude: Be positive. Don’t be a cheese ball and throw around false motivation. Be enthusiastic about what you do and the people you’re around. Not jazzed about your business or product? That’s a problem. Remember, nobody likes a sourpuss.
Look ‘em in the Eyes: When you meet someone look ‘em straight in the eye. Nothing says “Non-Leader” like someone that can’t even make firm eye contact. Don’t be a weirdo and sit staring into someone’s eyes. Keep your focus on the them and have the courage to be a leader.
Listen, Listen, Listen: Who like’s the loud guy at the business function? No one. Listen to what people are saying before chiming in. When Bill is speaking, Bill should be your only focus. Be honestly invested in the conversation and don’t try to run it. Trust me. This can lead to a big pay-day.
Project Yourself: We all know that most people hate public speaking. Ok. That doesn’t mean you can’t speak up while you’re in front of people. Ever run into a Mr. Mumbles? How will he recruit any new reps or sell a single product? Put some authority in your voice and make sure people can hear you.
Yep, these are simple steps. You will be surprised how small fixes can change your leadership potential. Never stop improving.
